Award-Winning
Wins the award for most cheesy worship song, and least theologically sound worship song I’ve heard in a long time.
Hillsong United at least had the ‘best friend’ thing a little more down…
Have you heard of the one called saviour?
Have you heard of his perfect love?
Have you heard of the one in Heaven?
Have you heard how he gave his son?
Well I have found this love and I believe in the son show me
your wayI believe in the one called saviour
I believe he’s the risen one
I believe that i’ll live forever
I believe that the king will come
Because I have found this love and I believe in the son show me
your wayJesus you are my best friend and you will always be nothing will
ever change that
Hm. That video is one of those laugh+cringe things. But more laugh.

Problems: Making theological points based on visions that aren’t theologically sound in themselves. Singing “Mess us up” is confusing. I get what they’re saying (essentially a “God, break us” deal) but being messed up is not really the end goal. Sanctification is.
Also, I’m not sure if “grabbing your partner and do-se-do’ing” mixes well with communicating a broken spirit.
