Hey guys, Riley here. I have a couple of posts in draft mode I’m going to post soon, plus some Easter meditations (that might end up on Mere instead). Just letting you know I haven’t abandoned this blog. I have been writing a post about my dad’s recent announcement of resignation from HNW, plus some recent reflections and then some just plain random posts. Honestly it’s been a tough couple of weeks both emotionally and time-sensitively, and I’ve had little time to write.

Please pray for me and my family! This is an awesome but tough time.

I remember when I first started using WordPress a handful of years ago.. I never really found a niche for a blog, nor did I ever seem to find the time to write (especially when I promised a series or a post.. yeah those usually never came). I do indeed love the prospect of writing on this blog (in fact, I certainly plan to), but I became puzzled deciding what was appropriate to post there. Mere has a certain feel to it, and while I’m all game of upsetting that norm every now and then, there are some posts that are just too personal to post on a group blog. Enter RileySheehan.net/blog.

Now, don’t get me wrong, this isn’t going to be a drama spill site. I’ve never been one for drama blogs or blogs too much about my most personal feelings. You can guarantee you’ll see some of my likes, dislikes, thoughts, and musings here. The ones that I think are particularly relevant to the Mere crowd I will send in that direction, but I’d really like to start building up a base here again. I’m definitely starting from scratch. The old blog is gone, as are all the posts (this is more accidental than intended), and as are all the readers. This is a full ground-up rebuild.
